Owners of Sewage Project from Ethiopia Visited the Water Company

On May 16th, agroup of four people from the Water Authority of Addis Ababa and the ConsultantCompany of the Koye Fetch Community Sewage Treatment Plant in Ethiopia visitedthe Water Company. The two sides held a symposium on project acceptance work.

At the symposium,Mr. Du, GM of Water Company, said that in the 1980s, CGCOC was engaged indrilling well water supply in Africa and has more than 10 years of experiencein water supply projects in Ethiopia. Now we have been constructing a sewagetreatment project in Ethiopia in which the Water Company will adhere to theprinciple of serving the people of Ethiopia, strive to do every job in projectdesign and construction, adopt international advanced technology, selectfirst-class equipment manufacturers, and try to establish a good project fullof the standards of CGCOC in Ethiopia for the appreciation and trust from theowners and consultants.

Mr.Abdulhakim, the Minister of Sewage Department of Addis Ababa City, Ethiopia,introduced the overall demand for sewage treatment in Addis Ababa, the capitalof Ethiopia. He said that the Koye Fetch community sewage treatment plant isthe first water project in Addis Ababa, which will be followed by several sewagetreatment plants in the future that are under feasibility study and projectfinancing. And, he mentioned that the Koye Fetch project has been paid muchattention by the local people and upper-level officials of Ethiopia. It ishoped that CGCOC can successfully complete and build a reputational project. Throughthis visiting and inspection of equipment, he said that he was warmly receivedby the leaders of Water Company. What is more, during this visiting, Mr.Abdulhakim had a deep technical discussion with Water Company and equipmentmanufacturers, and expressed his appreciation and respect to Water Company forthe ability of integrating top international and Chinese brand equipmentproducts.
